MEET OUR TEAM
Drs. Ellen and Joel Puleo opened the Pinehurst Women's Clinic in Pinehurst, North Carolina on July 1st, 1984. This photo captures that celebratory opening day moment for them and their then family of four. Since then, they have consistently provided quality women's health care throughout the Sandhills for over 35 years. Today, they have been married for nearly 45 years and have six wonderful children - Ashley, Justin, Preston, Laura, Blair, and Austin - and six sweet grandchildren - Hayley, Vivienne, Annabelle, Jenkins, Spencer, and Scarlett. Outside the office, they enjoy spending quality time with their big family and walking their dog, Abby.

Dr. Puleo is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist. She graduated with honors from Duke University School of Medicine in 1979. Licensed to practice in North Carolina, she is affiliated with FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
